We all need time to rest, relax and unwind. To be able to function normally you have to recharge your batteries now and then.

Some people choose nature, spas, beaches and the calming sound of the sea, while others need to be active, so they prefer water sports, sightseeing and hiking.

Whichever the case, if you’re looking for a perfect place for your vacation, you can have a blast in Australia as its various parts offer all sorts of vacation opportunities.

I know I did, and I was craving for a holiday like this. The things that relax me the best are the sea, nature, spa and delicious food. This is exactly what I got from my visit to Australia.

Daylesford, Victoria

With its lovely nature and numerous places that offer mineral water treatments, Daylesford is an excellent destination if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation. Because it’s so rich in mineral springs, many places in this area specialize in relaxing and rejuvenating the body, which affects the state of mind as well.

What’s more, here, you can find great restaurants such as Mercato and Lake House with beautiful ambiance and delicious food.

Port Douglas, Queensland

This town offers so many things like spas and wellness centers, indigenous tours, various sports and activities, and dining, of course.

Depending on your preference, you can have a great time on a walking tour through the rainforest while learning about the culture of Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people.

However, if you prefer something more peaceful and less active, visit Niramaya Day Spa or The Deep Retreat and Yoga Studio. After you visit some of the great Port Douglas resorts, you’ll feel more relaxed than you’ve ever been.

Hunter Valley, New South Wales

Located about 150 kilometers from Sydney, Hunter Valley is a great retreat that has a lot of greenery and fantastic wine. Explore vineyards and admire nature during the day, and then in the evening, sit near the fireplace and sip some exquisite wine.

Scarborough Wine Co. is a fabulous winery, and I suggest you don’t skip visiting this one. The people are friendly and professional, you will be offered cheese and biscuits to go with the wine, and the prices are entirely reasonable.

Margaret River, Western Australia

This place is a piece of heaven for any gourmand. You wouldn’t believe how many wineries, chocolatiers, breweries and cheese makers there are in this area. However, don’t miss out on your chance to admire the nature of this part of Australia since it’s stunning.

As for keeping your tummy happy and satisfied, you have to experience the Margaret River’s Ultimate Wine and Dine Day, as well as Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Once you try the delicious chocolate, you’ll never want to leave this place.

This is the place that will indulge the explorer in you. The variety of underwater life forms will entirely amaze you as this is the place to visit if you like snorkeling and diving

Don’t forget to bring an underwater camera as this is one of the best times for you to use it. Some other activities you can do here include ocean rafting, scenic flights, and skydiving.
